Over 80k! BNBU Open Day livens up campuses

On 26 April 2026, Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) hosted its annual Open Day, welcoming over 5,000 students, parents, and visitors to campus. The event was also livestreamed across multiple platforms, attracting a total audience of more than 80,000 participants online and offline.

BNBU President Prof Chen Zhi, together with faculty representatives, introduced BNBU’s distinctive liberal arts education and addressed key questions on admissions and student development. He highlighted the University’s commitment to integrating Eastern and Western traditions and fostering interdisciplinary learning, supported by a comprehensive talent cultivation system.

Visitors were offered a wide range of activities, including nearly 40 sample classes delivered by faculty from six faculties and schools, as well as guided campus tours covering teaching facilities, research laboratories, cultural venues, and student residences.

The Open Day also featured vibrant student cultural activities, such as traditional performances, student society showcases, and academic exhibitions, providing a dynamic glimpse into campus life.

In addition, all faculties and schools hosted information booths to provide detailed admissions guidance. Representatives from several leading universities also participated in the event, facilitating broader academic exchange.

The event provided prospective students and their families with an immersive experience of BNBU’s academic environment and campus culture.
