Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) successfully held its 2026 Guangdong Comprehensive Evaluation Admission Examination (CEAE) on 14 and 15 June, with more than 9,000 qualified candidates participating.
Now in its 14th year, BNBU's comprehensive evaluation admission test featured an in-person English interview comprising group discussion and individual interaction. The assessment evaluated candidates’ English proficiency, logical reasoning, communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership potential.
This year, BNBU further refined its admission process by introducing a 100-point scoring system for comprehensive evaluation results to ensure greater accuracy and transparency. The overall admission formula remains unchanged, with the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) accounting for 60%, the CEAE for 30%, and the High School Academic Proficiency Examination for 10%.
To help candidates and their families learn more about the University, BNBU also organised admission consultations, information sessions, student-sharing activities, and campus tours throughout the testing period.
Many visitors expressed strong interest in BNBU’s liberal arts education and international learning environment. Prospective students were particularly attracted by programmes spanning artificial intelligence, cultural and creative industries, and Chinese culture and international communication, while parents praised the University’s English-medium instruction, collaborative education model, and commitment to nurturing globally minded graduates.

The annual comprehensive evaluation admission test continues to serve as an important gateway for outstanding students in Guangdong to join BNBU's diverse and international academic community.
